Visited with my daughter and husband a couple of days ago and it was amazing! We actually only explored the gardens and then went to watch the joust, which was such a fun experience — it really felt like stepping back in time.
The grounds are absolutely stunning, and even just walking around the gardens you can see why it’s one of the most famous stately homes in England. The lake, bridges and huge landscaped parkland are incredible. To my shame, I only found out on the way there that was born there Apparently there’s even an exhibition inside about his life and connection to the palace, so now I definitely want to go back and explore properly.
Has anyone been at Christmas? I’ve heard the lights and decorations are magical and completely transform the palace and gardens 🎄
