Today I’m sitting with a pecan maple coffee ☕️🍁, watching the world move around me, and thinking about how easy it is to forget how far we’ve already come.
Sometimes we focus so much on what hasn’t happened yet — the things we still want, the plans that haven’t worked out, the chapters we wish were different.
But maybe today is a good day to pause and recognise something:
You are still here.
You made it through days you once thought would break you. You adapted. You started again. You carried things quietly that nobody else knew about. And even if life doesn’t look exactly the way you imagined, your story is still being written.
So, while this coffee is warm and the autumn light is coming through the window, I’m reminding myself:
🍂 You don’t have to have everything figured out.
🍁 You’re allowed to start again.
☕️ You’re allowed to rest without feeling guilty.
🌿 You are not behind in life.
🤍 And the next chapter can still surprise you.
Sometimes progress doesn’t look like a huge achievement.
Sometimes it looks like sitting quietly, taking a breath, and choosing to keep going.
And today, that’s enough. 🍁☕️
