CUM?

Faceți împreună aluat – plastelina ( playdough) colorat, aveți nevoie de făină, sare, ulei și colorant alimentar, apă.

Lockdown 2-UK

As the Premier said, we are going into a second LOCKDOWN until 2nd of December. I am anti Lockdown, they will resolve nothing, like with the first one, it’s a waste of time, economy, and the poverty is rising. “The COVID-19 pandemic is estimated to push an additional 88 million to 115 million people into extreme poverty this year, with the total rising to as many as 150 million by 2021, depending on the severity of the economic contraction”

ABORTION

Abortion is when a pregnancy is ended so that it doesn’t result in the birth of a child.

Talking about abortion can be emotional, nightmare, a traumatic experience, it’s also a sensitive subject to talk about it.

There are a lot of people against abortion, charities that are trying to help the pregnant women in order to save the fetus life. I read some news recently about poland ”100,000 people took part in the marches in Warsaw, despite a ban on groups of more than five across Poland, the Government banned the abortions, the are legal only in cases of rape, incest, when the woman’s life or health is at risk or if the fetus is irreparably damaged”.

There are currently 26 countries where all abortions are illegal, regardless if the pregnancy is a result of a incest, rape.

What does the bible say about abortion?

The bible doesn’t say anything about the word ABORTION, that doesn’t mean God doesn’t care about abortion.

God knows every step of in our life, every little detail, He wants us to give life and to be careful with that life.

Also, HE has forgiveness for us, just pray and talk with Him about your thoughts.

4 common worries for new mums

Being worried it’s natural and normal for new parents, panicking about every little thing and reading books before giving birth, it’s all normal.
Before giving birth, you have different worries than after the baby is born. While you are pregnant you might be anxious that the baby didn’t move yesterday, you are thinking about the labour and delivery, and how will you coop within the first month of your baby’s life.

  1. Is my baby getting enough to eat – I heard some mums saying that they woke up the babies to feed them, I think is a mistake to wake up the baby, if the baby is hungry, for sure the baby will wake up and cry in a way of asking for food. If you are waking up that baby every time he sleeps, for sure, you will make that a routine in his brain so the baby will wake up when he/ she is 2, 3, 4 years old.

2. The fear that your baby will die – Being a new parent can be stressful sometimes. My Mum told me that when I was a baby (in my first days of life) she was so worried that every night she will take turns with my Dad to check on me with the mirror trick to see if I am breathing, now that’s anxiety.

3. The baby is crying too much – A lot of parents discover how often and how long newborns cry, especially for dads could be stressful and they start panicking that something it’s not right with the baby, which usually it’s normal or the baby’s needs are not meet.

4. The baby sleep – In the first pregnancy some mums read tons of books about baby’s sleep, but you have to understand that every baby is different and special, so if in the book says that your baby needs 12 hours of sleep, well do not believe it, or worse be anxious that your baby is only sleeping 10 hours. The baby will sleep as long as she/needs.

The book of Jonah

The fifth of 12 Old Testament books that bear the names of the Minor Prophets, embraced in a single book.

It tells of a Hebrew prophet named Jonah son of Amittai who is sent by God to prophesy the destruction of Nineveh but tries to escape the divine mission.

But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.

2And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.

3Therefore now, O LORD, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.

4Then said the LORD, Doest thou well to be angry?

5So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might see what would become of the city.

6And the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd.

7But God prepared a worm when the morning rose the next day, and it smote the gourd that it withered.

8And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.

9And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.

10Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:

11And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?

toxic co-worker

Have a toxic co-worker?

Everywhere in this world, no matter where you go on this globe, you will come across toxic people, but the ones that will give you a headache are your co-workers.

There are 3 or more signs that your co-worker is toxic and you should stay away from him/her.

  1. They are judgemental – they can have a profoundly negative impact on a working environment. They usually pass judgement on everything and everyone he or she encounters. It can be anything from the colour of your t-shirt to the food you packed for lunch, they have opinions for anything in this world, and they feel the need to express all of them, if you disagree, well, then they will have opinions( not kind one) about you too.

2. They are selfish – Toxic people are selfish 100%, they are frequently opportunistic and only think about how circumstances benefit them.

Selfish persons make self-contradictory statements. Whatever selfish persons say, they back-out from that statement and do not do that work what they say to accomplish.

3. They love gossiping

They are feeding themselves with the gossips, they can’t wait for the next mistake a co-worker does, and at the moment they have the chance they gossip about, with their ”friend” at work. They are like ”pot stirrers’ and strive to make others look bad.

We all met toxic people at the workplace, but the key is to know how to coop with them. We have to understand that they might have problems, issues in their brain, life, or they simply want some attention and they have the need to feel important, as no one makes them feel important (especially in their childhood).

Do not permit them to invade you, do not let them be in charge of anything. Perhaps they should take a holiday and think about changing their lifestyle, their thoughts, actions, and visiting a psychologist.

This is one more reason why I keep saying BE KIND! God is in control, and He is watching them too!

World Mental Health Day

This year many of us have faced unexpected challenges and changes which have impacted mental health and wellbeing on a global scale, it came like hurricane and destroyed every plan, thought and mostly our social life.

World Mental Health Day (10 October) is an international day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma. It was first celebrated in 1992 at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health, a global mental health organization with members and contacts in more than 150 countries

”We know that the levels of anxiety, fear, isolation, social distancing and restrictions, uncertainty and emotional distress experienced have become widespread as the world struggles to bring the virus under control and to find solutions” (https://wfmh.global).

I know that for some people, spending time out, with friends and socializing it’s vital. The pandemic took everything away, more people are developing anxiety, stress, depression. Take care of your mental health by thinking positively, enjoy the family around you, we will get over this!

Traumatic experiences

Children cared for by child protection services are among the most vulnerable youth
populations, typically caused by the events that precipitated involvement in child
protection services, such as physical or sexual abuse, family violence, or neglect
.

Trauma is the experience of severe psychological distress following any terrible or life-threatening event. Sufferers may develop emotional disturbances such as extreme anxiety, anger, sadness, survivor’s guilt, or PTSD, depression.

“Dr. Peter Levine, who has worked with trauma survivors for twenty-five years, says the single most important factor he has learned in uncovering the mystery of human trauma is what happens during and after the freezing response. He describes an impala being chased by a cheetah. The second the cheetah pounces on the young impala, the animal goes limp. The impala isn’t playing dead, she has “instinctively entered an altered state of consciousness, shared by all mammals when death appears imminent.” (Levine and Frederick, Waking the Tiger, p. 16) The impala becomes instantly immobile. However, if the impala escapes, what she does immediately thereafter is vitally important. She shakes and quivers every part of her body, clearing the traumatic energy she has accumulated.”

Not perfect, just forgiven

Photo by Jess Bailey Designs on Pexels.com

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. Romans 3:23-25

Our only hope is in the perfect merit of Christ. He became our perfection and he is the only way into Heaven. The problem is while we are saved by faith alone in Christ, that faith will result in obedience and good works.

Now, who is perfect, or better asked, who thinks is perfect?

We are not, but Jesus is. Our God’s grace is bigger than my sins!
